Contemporary Jazz Lovers! You've found Jazz da Place jazz in time! Given time to fully load, inside you'll find sound-clips and stories about today's jazz artists, their new CDs and how their music makes us move and groove through the rhythms of life. Each month or so I'll review a smooth jazz artist or group's musical background, and vibe while mixing in a few gear shifts for good measure. "The Quick Run" will also include a short review of other selected tunes from more jazz artists and CDs for those on the short hop to the corner store. With the flavor and flair for the open road or a quiet night's fire, this is my attempt of melding smooth jazz with life, love and the antics of the human experience. Whether sitting down with a tall glass and paper umbrella or on a bombing run with a tank of gasoline, I hope you'll join me in this special experience called jazz. It's been a long while since I've attempted to consistently update this site but this time, I know the wait will be well worth it.
